Located in New Hartford, this independently owned ski area is open day and night—until 10 p.m., seven days a week—with 17 trails, 16 of which are fully lit for night skiing. With 70 skiable acres, two terrain parks, a spring mogul trail, and free NASTAR racing, Ski Sundown offers something for every level of skier and snowboarder.
The mountain is known for exceptional snowmaking, reliable grooming (up to twice daily), and a top-rated Snowsports School. Lessons are available for all ages—group, private, adaptive, and multi-week programs for kids 3+, teens, and adults—making it an ideal destination for families and beginners.
