What if I need to check-in early or late?
Our typical check-in window is after 3pm and we do our best to accommodate early and late check-ins. Please let us know if you’ll be arriving late or require a room earlier than 3pm on your arrival date.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made before 3pm at least one full day in advance of your arrival. Cancellation made with short notice will be charged for one night stay. If you are part of a group, you must cancel earlier than 15 days prior to the arrival date. Being an independent boutique inn, we are affected by cancellations, and while we are sympathetic to events outside of our control, we appreciate your understanding of these terms.
What is your smoking policy?
We offer a designated smoking area outdoors. The Inn is strictly non-smoking.
How large are the grounds surrounding the Inn?
Our boutique Inn is surrounded by 10 acres of lush lawn, heritage farms, woods, and a tranquil brook.
What are your hours of operation?
Check in is after 3pm
Check out is before 11am
The front desk staff is available anytime should you need assistance.
Do you allow pets?
Pets are welcomed in The Litchfield Inn at $25 per pet, per night. Pets are not permitted in the theme rooms.
Is breakfast included?
Breakfast is served daily 7am to 10am in the carriage room.
How many rooms are at the Inn?
We have 32 guest rooms — 16 Standard rooms that have 2 Queen beds. 16 King rooms that have 1 King bed, 12 of which are themed rooms.
Do you need an advance deposit?
No, we do not require an advance deposit but a credit card number is required to hold a room reservation. We will charge the credit card by 6pm on the day of arrival if the guest has not appeared.
